We got very good value for the money. The hotel is close enough to walk to the water, though there isn't much shopping or dining right nearby. Luckily, the kitchen stays open late and the chef is good. The air conditioning was quiet, powerful, and available on demand, rather than being switched for the whole hotel on fixed dates. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean, modern, and well equipped, with a lovely balcony view. The staff welcomed us warmly, accommodated special requests, and made us feel at home. And do yourself a favor: try a croissant or two at breakfast.

The rooms were very clean, and the hotel is fairly new with everything convenient. Breakfast was fine and offered quite a few choices compared with most small hotels in southern Italy. Don't expect foreign TV channels, as is common in smaller hotels. If you stay here, I'd recommend the nearby restaurant Il Giardiniello, about a 10-minute walk away.

The setting may not be fancy, but it's very handy for getting to the beaches at Pontecagnano or Paestum, and for trips to Naples and Pompeii. Once you're inside, though, it feels like a different world. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and nicely decorated, and breakfast is very good, with bread, eggs, juice, and fresh fruit. Service was extraordinary; every staff member went out of their way to make our stay a great experience.

The staff are really friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is clean and pleasant. We come back whenever we need to stop overnight on a trip.

Rocky was welcomed here too, and even got a little present 🎁! You can also charge your car at the hotel. We had such a pleasant stay: a comfortable bed, good breakfast, and friendly staff. I'd definitely recommend it. It's about an hour by car from Amalfi.
