Colle Dei Pivi

The staff were wonderful, and the place had such a warm, family-run feel. We loved our stay and would happily return. The rooms were neat and clean, and breakfast offered a nice variety. There was also a lovely pool and a foosball table for the kids. The views from one side of the dwelling were breathtaking, with beautiful farmland and Lake Garda in the distance. On the other side were the animals, a horse, chickens and roosters, and goats. I loved waking up to see the horse each morning. I swear he greeted me with a smile and a snicker.

Nico & co greeted us so warmly, and the pool made for a relaxed stay. The complimentary bikes were a great addition. It’s a lovely place with a beautiful view over Garda lake. In high season it seems mostly suited to families. Couples might find it a better fit in low season.

The typical Mediterranean lunch, served only on Saturdays and Sundays, was good, and the snacks and especially the BBQ are well worth trying. There were extra beds for the kids, which left us with little luggage storage, depending on the apartment. The soundproofing may bother sensitive guests, though we hardly noticed it. We had a perfect holiday here, about 10 minutes from Lago di Garda. The accommodation was nice and clean, breakfast was included, the staff were very kind, and the pool was great. We’re looking forward to coming back to Colle dei Pivi.

The wood kept cracking through the night, which made for long nights for me as a light sleeper. Aside from that, I’d recommend Colle dei Pivi. It’s very clean, with the cleaning staff coming by daily, and it’s a really dog-friendly place. Everyone there was very friendly, and it’s a great spot to rest.
