We left after just one night of the three we had booked for our family and our 14-month-old daughter. The apartment was very humid, with damp towels and sheets, and mold on the walls. It smelled moldy too. We felt that could be a health risk for our child and us, but Alessandro assured us it wasn't a problem. We were also told the heating shouldn't be used when it was too cold because of the cost, and heating is charged separately. The area around the property looked more run-down than the photos suggested, and the swimming pond couldn't be used. The location itself is beautiful and quiet, though. Alessandro was easy to reach, helpful with questions, and gave us clear check-in instructions. We were warmly welcomed with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. The refund for the other two nights came through, but only after Airbnb officially processed it. WhatsApp contact then stopped because I was blocked. Very unprofessional, which is a shame. If mold doesn't bother you, you might find it a nice place to stay with Alessandro.

The cuisine looked fantastic in the photos, with gourmet-looking dishes, though sadly we didn't get to try it. We also couldn't use the bio-pool, and I hope we'll have the chance another time. Inside, the property feels like the work of a real artist. The furnishings are distinctive, and the details reflect a strong connection to nature and the owners' respect for it. It's a beautiful place for a special stay surrounded by nature. If you're after both art and nature, it's one of the best places in Tuscany.

Alessandro and Ria are special people, and well worth meeting. The place suits anyone looking for quiet and privacy surrounded by beauty. Architects and people who love natural materials and original furnishings will appreciate how thoughtfully and harmoniously everything is put together. Take your time here, it's a stay that engages all five senses.
