Hotel L'Approdo

The seaside rooms have a beautiful view. Even though the hotel is on the street, it was still quiet. The staff were great, always helpful and accommodating. I'd definitely stay here again.

Our economy double was at the back, only a few metres from the mountain, so the view was limited. That didn't bother us, as we were out all day, and the room was quiet without the main road just outside. The small hotel is partly refurbished and sits on the seafront as you enter Porto Azzurro. I think it has a small private beach, though we didn't use it at the end of October. The staff were very friendly and helped with all our questions. Everything was spotless, and the hotel was careful about covid regulations. Breakfast was the one snag: the selection was all sweet things, croissants, homemade cakes, cereal, jams, fruit and yoghurt, none of which I can eat. When I explained this to the waiter, he brought me a plate of ham and sliced cheese, so that sorted it out. Maybe the limited selection was because we were there in low season. All in all, I'd happily return and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone asking for advice.

Amazing breakfast, and the location is excellent. The rooms are large and clean too.
