The owner was lovely and made a real effort to speak Spanish with us, which we appreciated. It's a good-value B&B in a great spot in Porto Torres. The renovated house feels very new, with a large bathroom and a sitting area with a fridge where breakfast is prepared. There's even a penguin in the room if you get hot.
The owner gave us such a lovely welcome. This modest little B&B is a great base for a night or a few in Porto Torres. It's clean, has air conditioning, and breakfast is included, with all the comforts you need.
The breakfast was generous, but the rest was disappointing. Before booking, I asked the host for tourist information about the area and got no answer. Luckily I asked the host at my previous place, or I wouldn't have known that La Pelosa requires payment for your stay on a website in advance, and I wouldn't have been able to go. There's no tourist information here, and nobody talks about anything. Such a shame. The bed is only 70 cm wide, more suited to teenagers. I nearly fell out every time I turned over, it was awful. The fan used for air conditioning was far too noisy. There's no outdoor area or clothesline for drying beach gear. I was told I could use the kitchen to cook, but it's actually just a room with a microwave and fridge, no water point or stovetop.
We had to leave early, and they made sure we had everything we needed for breakfast. The owners were lovely, and both the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and spotless. It was a pleasure to stay here, just 5 minutes from the port. Highly recommended!
The room was too hot, and the fan provided was so noisy. With the uncomfortable mattress and pillows, it was an exhausting night. Breakfast wasn't fresh or continental. The place was very clean, and the owner was friendly. It's close to the port, with lots of free parking.
