Capitolare Tower

The host, Andrea, made this stay stand out. He took care of the return transfer from Florence Airport, showed me around Porto Venere, and even bought me a large beer when I arrived. A young man who will go far. The Capitolare Tower is stunning and very well placed, with thoughtful details across all four floors and amazing bay views. Everything in the rooms was provided, including wine and Limoncello. Up on the Turret, the jacuzzi and two loungers make a private sun trap with an amazing view. The local restaurants were excellent, with plenty of options beyond fish. It's a one of a kind place and will be hard to beat. Easily the best accommodation I've ever experienced, 11/10. Andrea even arranged tables for us at the most popular restaurants, and we always got the best ones. He booked under the name “Capitolare Tower”. He was quick to respond with local tips and recommendations and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The penthouse was beautifully designed, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, plus more. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views and easy access to local attractions. Andrea went above and beyond as a host. Thanks for making our visit so memorable, we can't wait to come back.

Andrea was wonderful to work with. He helped us get around the area and shared amazing recommendations, and he was there when we arrived and checked out to make sure everything went well. The tower is full of history, and inside it has a luxurious feel. The morning views from bed, the bathroom, or the roof are hard to match. We loved staying in Porto Venere, Italy. The town has so much history, great food, and a quaint feel compared with the Cinque Terra cities.

The tower had everything we needed for a luxurious, relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable, the shower was large, and the appliances were top notch, including a Dyson hair dryer. There was great coffee, wine, and chocolates throughout, and the furniture was interesting and thought provoking. Everything was impeccably clean. Charm is easy to find in Italy, but having luxury and charm together is rare. My husband, our French Bulldog, and I visited in April 2025. We're Americans living in Italy, and came by train before exploring Cinque Terre by ferry. Still, our favorite part was simply relaxing in the tower and eating our way through Porto Venere. No expense seemed spared.
