The intimate feel of this smaller property is what made it seem like genuine Italian luxury. During our four nights, the staff made everything feel easy. Housekeeping left our room tidy, and when we went to dinner, we’d return to a perfectly turned-down bed. The front desk arranged car transfers and dinner reservations without ever making us feel like a burden. Breakfast is included and worth getting up for, especially the omelettes and proper cappuccino. Evenings on the private balcony, watching Positano’s lights come alive, are unforgettable. Even the morning Poseidon newspaper gives the place character and soul. Hotel Poseidon lives up to the hype. Stay here if you’re visiting Positano.

Thank you, Hotel Poseidon, for making our honeymoon so special. We booked the “funny room/funny suite,” which has one of the largest private terraces overlooking all of Positano. I recommend this hotel and room type if you’re planning a stay. It’s a charming, spotless, family-owned and operated resort in a fantastic walkable location. The front desk helped us a lot with reservations and excursions. We had an incredible dinner at Il Tridente, and breakfast was fresh and fantastic every morning. This hotel will always have a special place in our family’s heart, and it set a high bar for the rest of our trip.

We came for our engagement trip, and the staff made it unforgettable from the moment we arrived. They were kind, attentive to details, and genuinely caring, which made us feel so special. Every amenity felt exceptional, and the hotel clearly cares about making guests comfortable and giving them a luxurious experience. Everything exceeded our expectations. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. I’ll definitely come back and can’t wait to tell friends and family about it. I’m grateful we got to stay here. Highly recommend!

This was easily the best hotel of our three-week Italy honeymoon, and the perfect way to end it. We loved the pool, the views, the location, the breakfast, and the staff. It was all unreal. Our balcony had breathtaking views, and the complimentary prosecco for our honeymoon was a lovely touch. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, close to the shops and beach but a little removed from the chaos and traffic. I usually don’t leave reviews, but we relied on them so much while planning our trip that I wanted to share this in case it helps someone else. You should stay here! :)

We were seven friends visiting Positano for the first time and celebrating two birthdays. Everyone agreed this was the best hotel stay any of us had ever had. The staff were warm and attentive, and the place almost felt like someone’s home. Hotel Poseidon made our stay a dream come true. 10/10, I recommend it to anyone considering a stay here.
