La Borragine Apartament

I wasn't happy with the service. The heating in the room didn't work, and staying there made me ill. The room also hadn't been cleaned properly on the first day. When I went into the bathroom, it smelled like poo. There isn't a lounge area, so I had to eat breakfast in the cold every morning.

The views are amazing, and the staff are really friendly. Breakfast was good, too. It's around 30 minutes by bus from central Positano, which makes this a quiet spot away from the busy center. The rooms are modern and very clean.

We loved the view from here, and breakfast was freshly cooked each morning by the lovely staff and brought out while we sat outside. We even got to know the neighbor who regularly tends his garden. The property has beautiful, abundant gardens and the prettiest lemon tree I've ever seen. There are three fabulous restaurants within walking distance, and the famous lemon slush stand by the bus stop is a must. The owner is a Positano celebrity and very nice. We stayed for three days, and it was lovely. Getting our two wheeled suitcases up and down all those stairs was a bit of a challenge, but once we arrived, it was fine. Our AC wasn't working the first night, but the staff fixed it promptly the next day. One thing to know: the children who live just above the property run and play around 7 am, and you can definitely hear them. June in Positano is a lot to take in, so if we return, we'd choose another time of year. Highly recommend.

Mariangela and her family made us feel right at home. They shared suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to try, and helped arrange car service to and from Naples airport, which I was so glad they did. Taking the local bus into Positano center was pretty easy and quick. We had everything we needed at La Borragine rooms. The views were breathtaking, breakfast was delicious and complete, and every space was sparkling clean. It was a wonderful stay, and I'd strongly recommend booking here. If I could give more than five stars, I would.
