The construction noise never let up and completely spoiled the peaceful Positano feel. Inside, the rooms were short on basics, with little soap, not many towels, and not much thought for comfort. Getting there means hauling luggage nearly 1 km uphill over countless stairs, since there’s no proper road access. The lift doesn’t solve that, either, since it costs €1 per person each way every time you come or go. The prices are at hotel level, but the service felt like a hostel. Villa Anna was a booking mistake for us, and we won’t return or recommend it.

Construction noise kept us from sleeping this morning, and when we raised the issue, nobody responded. The rooms weren’t very clean either. It’s just not worth it, and unfortunately our vacation was ruined.
