I wouldn’t give this hotel any stars. They charged my card for the full amount ahead of time without my approval. More than two months before the stay, I told them I had to cancel because of family matters, but they wouldn’t consider a refund. They could put the room back up and charge more than I’d originally paid. Stay away from these thieves. The whole thing was stressful and made me anxious for no reason. Such a disappointment.

Everything was spotless, and the host was very kind. Breakfast is available, with sweet options, and there’s a pool and loungers for relaxing. You’re also close to a hiking trail. The view is magnificent, and although you have to climb a few steps to get there, it’s well worth it. A little piece of paradise. Nothing but good things to say, and I already know where to spend my holiday next summer!

My booking through Agoda for Villa Dei SRLS – Positano turned into a really upsetting experience. The host asked me to cancel and book again through a private external website, and repeatedly requested my 4-digit booking code, which can be used to manage or change a reservation. I felt uneasy and threatened because I worried they could cancel or alter my booking without my consent. I sent Agoda screenshots and reported the issue, but my refund was denied. I also submitted all the evidence, yet the host refused to return my money. It was one of the most unpleasant and untrustworthy booking experiences of my trip. Be very careful with this property.
