Breakfast on the terrace, looking out over Positano, was magical. The omelets live up to what I’d read, and the warm croissants, fresh juices, and cappuccinos were all delicious. Our room was refreshed daily, kept spotless, and stocked with complimentary drinks. The team even surprised us with a thoughtful parting gift when we left. From the start, the staff made the trip feel effortless. Before we arrived they arranged transportation to and from Naples and sent all the information we needed. We were greeted warmly with a refreshing drink, and they helped carry our bags to the property. The view from our stunning room moved me to tears. The front desk is staffed around the clock, and everyone we met was genuinely kind and caring. They helped with reservations, directions, and all our questions, always making us feel at home. The property is beautiful, but the people who run Villa Francesco are what made the stay extraordinary. Their attentiveness and hospitality made this our best stay ever. I can’t wait to return and will recommend it to everyone I know!

Angelo deserves a special thank you. We missed the last bus down from Ravello, and he arranged transport at a better price than the taxi drivers offered. He also checked in regularly to make sure we got back safely. All the staff were friendly and helpful with advice. The outdoor shower was one of my favorite experiences of the whole vacation. Our room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with a soft mattress, an ocean view, and complimentary soft drinks in the fridge that were replenished each day. Breakfast was lovely too, especially the delicious nut and chocolate cake they had each morning. This was the first hotel on our Italy trip, and the welcome drinks on the terrace overlooking the ocean were euphoric after we arrived exhausted and sweaty. We’d been too “greedy” to pay for the porter service when we came by ferry, and the walk from the pier took about 15 minutes. This ended up being the nicest hotel we stayed at in Italy and made Positano feel very special and magical.

The views were unbelievable, like a postcard, and the staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This newly renovated hotel was a five-star experience from start to finish, with the team going above and beyond. There are some steps to climb, but that’s part of the Amalfi Coast charm. Highly recommend!

Villa Francesco is in a quiet, romantic part of Positano, a short walk from the beach. It felt peaceful and intimate, just right for a relaxing getaway. The staff were welcoming and available whenever we needed help. Their 24-hour concierge made things easy, from arranging transfers to suggesting local places. It’s one of the most charming, well-cared-for places we’ve stayed in Positano, and I’d recommend it for comfort, elegance, and a warm personal touch.
