BB Borgo Marinaro

My single room had its own bathroom and a breathtaking view. Mr. Gino was incredibly kind and made me feel like family. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the balcony looked out toward the islands and a beautiful panorama. A fantastic stay, thank you so much ❤️ See you soon! Cinzia Baccini

We spent three lovely days at Borgo Marinaro. The apartment is decorated with so much care, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. We felt at home. The charming kitchen has a breathtaking sea view, and having the balcony to start and end each day was wonderful. There's also a bedroom balcony facing the street, where you can watch the bustle of Italy. The location is excellent for getting around on foot. The old town and promenade are close by and lovely to explore. The train station is about a 5-minute walk away, and a ride into central Naples costs just €2. Boats leave from the port for all the islands and the other sights in Naples and the surrounding area. After a busy day, relaxing on the balcony was perfect. We'd love to return and highly recommend this place.

The air conditioning works, and there's a small shared balcony with a stunning sea view. The B&B has several nice rooms, but the owner is completely absent. The website doesn't say that reaching it means climbing two flights of steep, inhumane stairs. Cleaning was almost nonexistent: during our ten days, it happened only once, and that was poor, with COVID regulations disregarded. It's too expensive for what it is and the service provided. I definitely won't stay here again.

The noise was the worst part. Cars and the rooms below made a constant, deafening racket that carried in from the street, so sleeping at any hour, day or night, was impossible. The room was filthy, with hair visible on the bed, and the furniture was dated. There's no ensuite bathroom either. I strongly recommend this property for short stays, and especially long ones. The owner should close up and get some well-deserved rest.
