B&B La Libellula

You can get around Vico Equense without a car from here. The B&B is just a short walk from the center and station, which is great if you don't like driving in tourist areas. It's recently renovated, lovely and welcoming, with everything you need. Jole, the owner, is very helpful and friendly.

The owners are so welcoming and helpful, and make you feel right at home. It's a peaceful spot for families with children or anyone looking to relax, and it's well placed for getting to Fonte Greca and Letino. The room was the letdown: a bit cold and dated. New furniture and a renovation would help.

The terrace was a lovely place to have the plentiful breakfast, and later to lie back and look for constellations in the stars. From the garden, you can reach a small terrace with a sundeck overlooking the river, where you can cool off in the water. We stayed at B&B La Libellula for two nights and three days, and felt completely at home, maybe even better. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, answered all our questions, and found the best solutions. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed, including a refrigerator, clean towels, and soap. The location also makes it easy to reach both the Fontegreca cypress grove and the Lete River waterfalls, good places for hiking, picnics, and barbecues. I recommend staying at La Libellula and unwinding there. What a charming place!

The underground room was in such a state of neglect that we left the room we had paid for in advance without even spending the night. It smelled damp, and the hosts seemed completely uninterested. Never again. I wouldn't give the place even one star. I'm sorry, because the owner was kind, but I also encountered an unusual arrogance.
