Francesca and her family made us feel so welcome, and shared wonderful information about the villa. I also loved having quiet little spots to sit around the grounds and take in the calm. The 15th century villa has history throughout the house and yard, and the views are magnificent. Breakfast was amazing, and they even gave us a breakfast bag for our early morning travels. The road up can be a bit challenging, with narrow stretches and little room when cars come the other way. That added to the real Italian feel, though. There’s a train track nearby, but it didn’t disturb the peaceful surroundings. A perfect Italy experience, whether with family or for a romantic getaway. I highly recommend it.

A real highlight of our Italy trip. The owner is lovely, kind, and really helpful with suggestions for the area. The villa itself is beautiful, full of history and charm. I’m sure we’ll come back.

Breakfast on the veranda was a pleasure, with excellent and varied food. You can also buy olive oil and bianco wine made by the villa's owners, which was another highlight. Giovanni, the welcoming host, tells the story of this living monument in detail. The villa belongs to descendants of the Ruccelai family, was created in the 12th century, and was completed gradually. Its interior feels grand and luxurious, while the rooms are cozy and furnished in the Italian villa style. The garden and olive grove are beautiful too. We were delighted. In our 10 years of traveling, this place deserves the highest rating. If you want more than beauty and aesthetics, you should visit.

Every corner is full of history, and staying here feels like stepping back 1,000 years. Just amazing, highly recommended. The last street on the way in is very narrow, so take care, and the Wi-Fi was poor.

Breakfast on the terrace, with its fantastic garden view, was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were well maintained. It’s an authentic old villa in a quiet, remote spot. An outstanding experience.
