The garden alone is something special, with flowers, fruit trees, all kinds of vegetables, and fountains and ponds. We stayed in a spacious, comfortable suite with a full kitchen and a huge balcony looking out across the mountains. A perfect spot for an Italian getaway!

We found the area quiet, with convenient parking, and Sulmona is a charming town with plenty to see. It also makes a great starting point for Maiella National Park and the surrounding area. The owner was very friendly, and the property is well cared for. Our apartment was clean, spacious, and well equipped, with a beautiful large terrace over the mountains and valley. Even during very hot days it didn’t get too warm inside, and mornings and evenings stayed pleasant.

Maikol is quite the gentleman and a real cowboy. He even treated us to some white grapes from his own vines. The hosts gave us a wonderfully warm welcome, and the food was amazing.
