Le Terrazze B&B

I travel to places like this often, and I usually only post a review when I have something positive to say. I'm writing now because people, especially families with children, shouldn't be misled. I spent two nights here, and I can't recommend this B&B. The listing mentions a bathroom kit, slippers and mosquito nets, but none were provided. In midsummer, having no nets was especially absurd with a child. The window shutter was broken, so there was no privacy: it opened onto neighboring rooms, with other apartments across from it. Getting in was difficult too. The entrance is steep and impractical with a child or luggage, and the front door is so narrow you have to enter sideways or unhook it completely to get in and out. There was a fridge, but not even a bottle of water for guests, even for purchase. 😂 I hope I don't get the kind of reply other reviewers describe, saying I picked the wrong B&B or am trying to smear the owners for no reason.

When I got there, nobody was waiting except the cleaning lady, who didn't know when I would arrive. In the heat, there wasn't even a bottle of water available. The bathroom had no shelves for toiletries and nowhere to hang a shower towel. The entrance shown in the photo isn't what you find. It's a tiny metal door, so small you have to stand beside it to get through, followed by a very steep and dangerous staircase. At these prices, I can't call this good service. I strongly advise against staying here.

The room faced a terrace, and with no screens on the window I had to leave it shut all night. There was nowhere to put anything in the tiny bathroom, and the coat rack was broken. The so-called breakfast was a coffee machine perched on a mini-fridge, too small to even hold a bottle of water, so I had to kneel down to make coffee. My partner and I booked just one night, and I could barely squeeze through the doorway.

The rooms look new and are furnished nicely, but they don't work very well in practice. We paid €120 for one night, and found too many problems for that price. The steep stairs were hard to manage, especially with children and strollers. Our room had no balcony, so there was nowhere to hang swimsuits or beach towels. The bathroom had no hangers, and the windows had no mosquito nets.
