We stayed for 15 days only because we’d paid in advance, and the whole time nobody came to clean either the room or the property. Breakfast was a bag of croissants from the bar, delivered at 11:45 one day, and the leftovers sat there for two days. There’s a kitchen, but guests aren’t allowed to use it. There’s no washing machine for guests, just one in a room. When we raised the problem, the owner offered to take our clothes home and wash them himself. The property isn’t fenced, and being a few minutes outside San Mauro meant wild boars repeatedly came into the guest areas. The owner’s answer was to tell us to “bring a stone.” It couldn’t have been worse.

The rooms were clean and the property well maintained. Riccardo and Guido welcomed us courteously and professionally, and clearly paid attention to the details. Breakfast was generous, with designer products, and they also treated us to generous aperitifs. The location made it easy to reach Acciaroli, Castellabate, and other beaches along the Cilento coast, with an exceptional view as well. We’ll be back as soon as we can. Thanks, guys!

The view is the one good thing here, and the young man uses it to charm guests. My stay was awful. The rooms were dirty and neglected, the shared kitchen smelled bad, and the common area was shamefully rundown. Guests raised concerns about the poor hygiene and the small breakfast, which wasn't enough for everyone, but he ignored them. He seemed focused on collecting money on arrival without giving an invoice, then disappearing. I wouldn't recommend it.

AWFUL. We left in the middle of the night after being stuck in the dark for a long time because of an undisclosed electrical panel problem. I tried calling the owner more than 30 times and got no answer. When he came to get the keys, he was rude and acted as if he were in the right. We hadn't used the room, but he kept the money and gave us no receipt or refund. The room was filthy, with dust and mouse droppings, and the property itself felt neglected, run-down, and unsettling, with very old furnishings. I have videos and photos of what I described, but Google doesn't allow me to publish them. He was rude and uncaring.

The kitchen was unusable, the bathrooms were tiny, and the shower was cramped. There was dust everywhere, mouse droppings even in the kitchen, and the rooms were dirty and damp, with uncomfortable beds. Painting seems to be his answer to the damp, but it doesn't fix the smell. The lights were a problem too: switching on the outside light trips the whole electrical system. When I mentioned it, Riccardo said, "Well, you don't have to turn on the light to stay outside." He doesn't answer the phone when there's a problem. I won't be back.
