We got back from a family trip last week, and I didn't enjoy this hotel enough to want to return. The pool was freezing, and the only warm one was in the spa, where children couldn't go. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing special. I don't understand why there wasn't an egg station, a basic breakfast feature. We had buffet breakfast three times: there were boiled eggs set aside and, one day, some cold premade omelettes that weren't there the next day. Nobody cooked eggs, so that wasn't an egg station. There was no pizza either, because it was supposedly low season. Charging full price while operating halfway, with no pizza, isn't reasonable. The internet barely worked in our room and was unavailable in some areas. The TV had very few channels and wasn't smart. The kids' club was closed, with no advance notice before we arrived or during booking, and there was nothing else for children to do. In October, with two little kids, that made it a poor family option. If facilities are going to be closed and the hotel only partly operating, it would be better to close completely. Though the hotel was half empty, we were assigned a room at the farthest point from the pool, making the walk to its facilities very long. The staff did try to move us, and that's why I give three stars, but we'd already spent a night there and had to leave the next day. With so many empty rooms, this could easily have been avoided.
