The pool was a dream, and breakfast was stunning. Everything looked beautiful and was clean, and the people working there were wonderful. My husband, son, dog, and I were warmly welcomed. A romantic, peaceful place. Highly recommended ♥️

We love staying at wineries, and here the special focus is balsamic. The wine selection is excellent, though their own wine is limited to Lambrusco, which won't suit everyone. Roncolo is also perfectly placed for excellent walks, with breathtaking views over the Po valley from the foothills of the Appenines. We came to explore Parma and Modena, but could barely bring ourselves to leave this heavenly spot. It's a small, informal, charming summer hotel, yet very smoothly run. The rooms are beautifully appointed, the service is impeccable and adjusts to how much conversation you want, and the food is outstanding, from breakfast buffet to poolside lunch and dinner in the old orangery, which was actually for lemons. With so few rooms, the restaurant needs to draw guests from around the area, and it absolutely deserves to.

The owners deserve congratulations for restoring this magnificent place, and the staff for their hospitality and eye for detail. We had a fantastic stay. The service was top notch, the rooms beautifully appointed and well maintained, and the restaurant's design gives everyone sublime views. The food was delicious, especially breakfast, our favorite.

We spent three nights here with our three young kids and wished we'd booked longer. Our family of five stayed in the family suite and junior suite, joined by a sitting room, so we had lots of space to spread out and feel comfortable. The property and its setting are beautiful, and the gardens are meticulously maintained. What really made the stay, though, was how warm and helpful everyone was from the moment we arrived, especially Michael at the front desk. They were genuinely kind to us and the kids, and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We hope to return soon!
