The location made it easy to see Salento's beautiful beaches and explore its history and art, and the property was peaceful at all hours. Private parking was a major plus, since it isn't always available in Salento. The breakfast was authentic and healthy, and Mara was happy to cater to both allergies and personal tastes. The place has every comfort, with tidy, well-furnished rooms that were always clean. Staff were ready to help with anything, including useful tips for exploring the area. Mrs. Mara was delightful, friendly, and very attentive; her husband Massimo was very kind. They were both reserved but always available, in person or by phone. I felt at home, while still being in a proper guesthouse, a four-star B&B rather than one of those houses oddly described as hotels. I stayed two nights in July, on July 12, 2019, and this was the first time after several stays around Salento that I'd felt like writing a review. The property looked good and exceeded expectations. It offered more than other places, and the value was excellent and very competitive. I had a great time, highly recommend it, and plan to return. This is based on my own experience, but I still recommend it.
