It takes a bit of effort to get here, but it's so worth it. The farm is incredibly peaceful, and Simonetta and Giovanni are great hosts, welcoming and full of information, with lovely personalities. The rooms are all different, rustic in a historical way, and very comfortable. Radda in Chianti is a short drive for groceries, morning coffee, or dinner. I'd highly recommend taking at least one of the courses offered here.

We were very happy here for four weeks. It's peaceful enough to feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, with just two old mansions visible on the opposite hills, but Radda is only an eight-minute drive away. The countryside is beautiful, and the house and apartment feel authentic, spacious, and lovingly maintained. There are lots of drawers and shelves, a terrace, a porch, other places to sit indoors and out, and a beautiful lake. Simonetta and Giovanni make a lovely couple and such good hosts. We felt at home, like visiting relatives in the best way. You can enjoy the wine and olives they produce next to the house. We saw Giovanni working among the vineyards each morning and feeding their goats and horses, kept for their own or their guests' pleasure. They love the place and are sincerely generous and friendly with guests.

The farmhouse is impressive and historic, and the hosts have clearly put warmth and effort into caring for it. There are horses and goats, a small lake, and we weren't bothered by mosquitoes. The Chianti wine, good olive oil, breathtaking views, and lovely atmosphere made this a wonderful Tuscan experience. It's near Radda in Chianti and some good restaurants, though you'll need a car.

We spent five beautiful days here and loved every minute. Simonetta and Giovanni's suggestions helped us see a lot of Tuscany, and the wine and olive oil tasting on their stunning property was a special experience. The spacious place has a Tuscan villa feel, with comfortable, roomy, cozy bedrooms, gardens, memorable views of the vineyards, and a private pond. Such lovely hosts and hospitality, and the farm made us feel right at home. A really special find, highly recommend!
