CDH Hotel Radda

The staff made this stay memorable. At reception, people would look up, smile, and greet me whenever I passed. Each morning at breakfast, a very polite and accommodating man welcomed me and was happy to make coffee to order. The breakfast area and wine bar were open daily, and I enjoyed ending our days outside exploring with a stop at the bar. A friendly woman there knew a lot about wine and was great at answering our other questions. The balcony by the breakfast and restaurant area has a breathtaking view. The restaurant was closed in the evening because they didn't have much staff yet, but the welcoming staff made the breakfast and wine bar worth it. I'd definitely come back for a longer stay.

I'm visiting again soon, after a second stay at this lovely resort. The rooms are very nice, and the breakfast buffet was thoughtfully arranged. I especially appreciated the pancake maker and the male syrup. The spa is small but works well, and the staff there were very nice. The pool area was relaxing and well kept. Reception were amazing, friendly, and efficient, and Stefano and the rest of the F&B team were very professional. The restaurant had excellent food and wine in a cozy atmosphere.

The view alone could keep me here for weeks. It was stunning, and the pool was lovely too. We knew when we booked that our room would be basic, though there are bigger, nicer ones that just didn't fit our options this trip. Meals were very good, and the waitresses were helpful. There are a couple of charming villages nearby, but you can't walk to them. Such a relaxing place. I really hope I get to come back.

The staff were wonderful, though clearly overworked. I was there in October 2023 with a group tour and left very disappointed that our agent had picked this hotel. My upgrade was a junior suite with a bedroom and a second room with a daybed, connected by an outdated bathroom whose shower had mold. It looked nothing like the website photos. The air conditioning had been shut off for the season, so the room was hot at night. The restaurant only opened for group meals and breakfast, and anything else meant a 1.8 km walk along the road. With a group, we were basically stuck there.
