The staff were rude and seemed uninterested. When I asked for something, they either brushed me off or answered rudely, and they treat people from other regions of Italy worse. It was really noticeable. The rooms are old, the furniture is partly broken, everything is dirty and run down, and there’s even a bad smell. The prices are ridiculous for what they offer, far too expensive. A terrible experience. I’d never go back.

A little-known place to visit, and a great spot for some relaxation.

Really unprofessional. Around mid-December, I arranged with the hotel for a specific date and made it clear several times. After the holidays, we had a long conversation and were close to confirming the booking. We were already discussing the price and finalizing things when they said the room wasn’t available after all. They’d got confused because they hadn’t checked the reservations carefully, and couldn’t offer any other dates in either of the next two months. Embarrassing.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and clearly looked after. Its spot near town and Mount Amiata made getting around easy.
