La Moresca Maison De Charme

A few little things bothered me: the wall-mounted hairdryer was horrible, and the juice came in plastic cups. They did get me a kettle when I asked, along with milk for my tea. I also liked having both a ceiling fan and air conditioning in the room. The staff were really nice and helpful, the rooms quiet, and breakfast good. The location was good too, one minute from the beach and plaza. It's a fine boutique hotel in a lovely resort, with a proper Italian feel and not many Brits. Great beach and restaurants. A hidden gem.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the location was great. But we had booked three nights and checked out after just one because too many things were wrong. The bathroom was clean, though there was a moldy smell from the vents and buildup on the floor tiles by the sink. The air conditioner barely worked, and there were no fans. The mattress was very hard, and although there was no blanket on the bed, I found one in the dresser. It was dusty and had long black hairs stuck to it. The towels were scratchy enough to leave red marks on my face and body. The outdoor area had a nice view, but it needed lighting at night and the dead plants used as decor spoiled it.

The beach is really close, and the hotel has a lovely, charming feel. The rooms are clean and individual, and breakfast is nicely chosen, with fresh-brewed coffee. The ladies running the place do everything they can to make you comfortable.

The walk to the beach, restaurants, and bars was great, and the maid service was very good. The staff were friendly and tried hard, though they seemed quite unprofessional. Breakfast was a very good continental spread, with a wonderful woman serving coffee. The building is very old and needs updating. We could barely move in the tiny shower, and it wasn't the cleanest. There was no ice, wine opener, or proper glassware, just plastic. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
