I was in a room with a shared bathroom, and the location covers all the essentials. Historic town center is a five-minute walk. Free parking and self-service laundry are 300 M away, a corner shop is 20 M away, and bike rental is across the street. Once you have a bike, everything opens up: the beach is a three-minute roll downhill and the restaurants are a minute away. Put the money saved on the room toward an e-bike for your stay. The common areas were very clean, and the bathroom was spotless. They’re attentive to that. My room had a smell, maybe from the humidity, but it wasn’t a big deal since I spent hours on the balcony looking over the garden and mountains. I loved sitting there with the neighbors’ piano, church bells, and clouds rolling by. Francesca was very helpful and her father Pablo was nice. They’re only at the property in the mornings cleaning, but you can WhatsApp them if you need anything. They speak English, Italian, and German. A few things to know: the towels could be replaced, so bring your own soap. My room was next to the road and all the cars were loud, though closing the windows fixed that. WiFi was okay, around 5 MPS in the room and faster on the balcony. There was no A/C in my room. Breakfast was okay, and the homemade things were good, but there was no espresso, so I rode down the street for one. There’s a small shared fridge, handy for drinks from the corner market. Soda in town is very expensive, lol, $5 for a can of Coke?! Water in town is 1.50 euro and 25 cents at the supermarket. Or take a bottle and refill at the free public fountains. In the evenings other guests hang out on the balcony. I liked chatting with travelers, but keep that in mind if privacy matters to you. Can’t wait to come back. Wish I could stay longer.
