Luisa made us feel so welcome and was a fabulous host. Nothing was too much trouble, and having breakfast delivered to our room each morning was such a nice touch. There was plenty to choose from, and it was delicious. We had an incredibly special three-night honeymoon at Villa Barluzzi. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, especially as the perfect way to end a honeymoon.

Breakfast in the little private garden was such a lovely touch. Luisa met me at the taxi, helped arrange the luggage drop, and looked after whatever I needed throughout the stay. The place feels like paradise, with wonderful views and a beautiful room. An old church dating to 1145 has been turned into an amazing boutique hotel, and the service here is outstanding for this part of the country. One of my best experiences in Italy, and worth the money.

Salvatore made us feel at home from the start, even taking us around town and arranging a magical private dinner with friends at one of Ravello’s historic spots. His care and professionalism made the four nights unforgettable. Villa Barluzzi has a lovely artistic feel and a real respect for history throughout. The renovation balances comfort and luxury beautifully. We’re already looking forward to coming back to this special place in Ravello.

Salvatore, Jamie and I miss you already! You made our honeymoon in Ravello so special with the warmest welcome and wonderful hospitality. We stayed in the Icarus room, the old church chapel, and loved the high ceilings, generous space, and beautiful outdoor area. The villa was even more gorgeous than the photos. Salvatore was so patient and reassuring when I felt overwhelmed planning our Italy trip. He answered all my questions, shared useful recommendations and time saving tips, and even walked us to places that were confusing to find. The whole team was kind and welcoming, and made me feel at home. The villa itself is immaculate, comfortable, and luxurious, with a lot of care for its history and design. Every room has its own look, but the style throughout is cohesive and tasteful. I was in Ravello for a wedding and wanted somewhere artistic and romantic with character, and this went beyond what I hoped for. The architecture, garden beneath the balconies, and especially the views from Poseidon are stunning. It was even more beautiful than the pictures. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!
