Villa San Michele

Every night at villa San Michele, we had what felt like the best meal of our lives. We wondered whether to eat at the hotel instead of exploring local restaurants, but the fresh local flavors made that choice unforgettable. I'll always remember the lime olive oil risotto with raw tuna. This place became one of the high points of our honeymoon, and before leaving we were already talking about coming back one day to relive it. Such a special find.

The service was amazing, and having dinner included was such a treat. We loved drinks and snacks on the garden patio before dinner, especially the wine and the best limoncello spritz. The hotel sits right on the sea, with a private swimming area, plus floats and paddle boards. We booked a smaller room because the ones with larger balconies weren't available. Even the Juliette balcony had space for two chairs and a nice view, though the rooms, especially the bathrooms, were very small. A golf cart pickup to Minori was the easiest option for us. From there, walking to Atrani and then Amalfi is doable, but harder when you're tired. Five stars!

We only stayed two nights at Hotel Villa San Michele, and I really wish we could've made it a week. The service was incredible, and we especially loved eating at the restaurant. The food was to die for, with a changing menu built around local ingredients. The white and blue hotel is beautiful, and our clean room had everything we needed, plus lovely blue tiling and accents. We had a terrace overlooking the sea and coast, and the views were breathtaking all over the property. A 10/10 stay. Hope we can return one day!

The staff felt like family, and we felt at home. The food tasted like real home cooking, made with fresh ingredients. The property is beautiful and clean, with spectacular coastal views. It's about a 10-minute walk to Amalfi, where you can avoid the crowds, and there's a bus stop right outside the hotel. I've never had an accommodation experience quite like it. This place is perfect.
