Getting to the hotel means walking down a narrow alley or using one of the special luggage buggies, but that tucked-away setting keeps things peaceful and private. It's still close to the main sights. After breakfast at the on-site Villa Maria restaurant, we liked heading to Piazza Centrale and Piazza Duomo, where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Museo del Corallo is another place to see if you're interested. The neighborhood is lovely, and our room had a balcony with a beautiful sea view. Guests can also use the pool at nearby Hotel Giordano. We spent a week at Hotel Villa Maria in Ravello for a family wedding, and the rooms were comfortable, beautifully designed, and very well maintained. Everyone on staff, including the restaurant team, gave us such a warm welcome. The whole property has a quiet, elegant feel. Some rooms have balconies or terraces with lovely sea views, a great way to start the day. For a longer visit or a special event like a wedding, it's a charming, well-run place.

We went for dinner on September 25 and thought the food and service were excellent. The view was stunning, too. We got there a little before our 7pm booking, so had drinks and took in the scenery first. It was on the pricey side, but we all felt it was worth it. Best meal of our whole trip!

We'd booked a table for 7pm while heading to Villa Cimbrone, but arrived just after 6:30 when the gardens there had closed. They seated us right away and brought bread and cocktails before the kitchen opened. Such a great experience, and everything we ate was delicious, including the vegan choices.

Our room looked out to sea, with an amazing view of Mt Vesuvius and the surrounding area. The top floor Sun terrace had even more incredible scenery. Breakfast was included, really good, and had so many choices.

We only ate dinner here, but the views alone were breathtaking. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the service was fantastic. I'd go back in a heartbeat. The food was fantastic too, though some international travelers might find the portions small.
