Dimora Delle Emme

The privacy was unacceptable: the room was on the ground floor behind an all-glass door, and the roll-down shade still left about a third of it visible from outside. The room also felt dated, with just one tiny soap bar and no shampoo or conditioner. When I arrived, the teenage son greeted me, said I was at the wrong entrance, showed me the room, took my passport, and said he’d return in 20-30 minutes. I raised the privacy issue with the host, who didn’t speak English, and she said nobody else had complained. I’d booked that morning and simply asked to leave with a refund, but she blamed me and refused to return the money. She was rude and unwelcoming, relying on her son to communicate with guests. From the moment I arrived, I felt like an unwanted nuisance.
