The kids’ animators were the best part for my family. They were playful, patient, and tuned in to what the children liked, so my son was really sad to leave. The restaurant servers were attentive and cleared dishes quickly, and the barman was nice too. For adults, the morning beach exercises were fun, alongside all the kids’ options like baby dance, games, indoor and outdoor play, and cinema. Our room was clean and spacious, with daily housekeeping and fresh towels. The blackout windows worked well, though some light came through the bathroom door. There was occasionally a slight smell in the bathroom, but it was manageable. The walls let sound through, but we had a sound machine for our child and got by. The bikes weren’t very dependable on the bumpy roads, which felt especially concerning with a child riding behind. Meals were fresh and well prepared. There were two main course choices and four first course choices, and the menu changed each day. It was more about quality than quantity, with fruit, salads, and lovely desserts. Kids could eat in a separate area with their entertainers and other children if they wanted. The head receptionist was very accommodating. The person who checked us in explained meals and sunbeds but didn’t clarify what else was included, so we were confused at checkout about the “frigobar.” It wasn’t even available in our room, and it seemed staff didn’t know the amenities for each room type very well. There was also an unpleasant moment with a “man” preparing an event about the Parco del Po. He’d left photos in the lobby near the brochures, where kids could easily reach them. We apologized for our child touching them, and he said they were for the show, but then turned away and made a rude 'italian' gesture while talking to the young receptionist about us. The hotel is an easy walk to the beach through the famous pineta, which gave us shade from sun and wind. There’s a supermarket and a few restaurants nearby, but no pharmacy was available during our stay in May. Outdoor and indoor play areas were kept up well and were fun for kids, especially when it rained on our first day. The pool was too cool for us to try. Elevators were quick, public bathrooms were clean and included toddler bathrooms, and there were lots of places to lounge. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, and there was a nido for small kids with sitters available. Even without a great beach, we had a fun stay as a couple with children. Parents can relax while the kids enjoy themselves. The animators made the trip special and unforgettable, and at this price I’d recommend it to friends.
