The rooms were tidy and clean, and we rented two really good bikes for the weekend that worked well for getting around. What stood out most was how warmly the staff welcomed us and how kind they were. A great hotel for a weekend away, and I’d definitely return.

Never again. We paid 415 Euro for 2 nights in july for 2 adults plus 2 kids, and it felt like the biggest rip off I’ve experienced. The staff were nice, breakfast was ok, and the Cappuccino was very good, but that was about it. The hotel felt like a youth Hostel from 1970, with the cheapest old furniture and a smell in the bathroom. It was super loud next to the road. Even with the beach 1 km away, we could hear techno music at night until 1 AM. The windows were a joke: every car outside, every door inside, and people Talking in the next room all came through. We got no sleep. The kids said it was like being in a prison. The beach was a 10 to 15 min walk.

We hired a bicycle at the hotel for €5 a day and had a great day cycling through forests and wetlands and along the pier. We saw flamingos, ibis, egrets, and geckos. The beach was only a few minutes away on foot through a pine forest, with both a free beach and spots where you pay to hire a chair and umbrella. The 90 bus stop is very close too, around 10 minutes to the port where the cruise ships dock and about 30 minutes to Ravenna. It’s a beautiful hotel, and I loved how pleasing everything looked. The hotel and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. We visited in the height of summer for a few nights. Our room faced the street but noise wasn’t a problem; the walls between rooms weren’t very soundproof, though the people next to us happened to be fairly quiet. I’d improve the main light, which felt a bit stark, add a mattress topper to soften the bed, and put in hooks or towel rails for drying swimsuits. The restaurant also serves delicious dinners, with service just as excellent. All in all, I’d highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent value and quality, €6 for all you can eat, including speciality coffees. They made us a North American breakfast to order when we asked. The location worked well for catching a cruise the next day, but it felt very remote for anything else apart from the beaches. There was noisy road traffic, and we could hear the people above stomping around and dropping things well past midnight. There was no carpet.

The restaurant was amazing, the best food we had in Italy. Breakfast was excellent too, and the restaurant staff were friendly, fun, and very accommodating. At check-in, the staff member was wonderful and got us settled without trouble. Since we’d arrived from Venice after two straight days of rain, our clothes were wet and didn’t smell great. Someone at the front desk offered a clothes rack for the back balcony so we could hang them up for a while. We booked for one night before boarding our cruise ship. I’d been worried on the way from Venice because I didn’t know what to expect, but had no reason to be. The rooms were quaint and larger than expected, with a roomy bathroom. The shower sits in the corner by the bathroom entrance, and curtains at the door and by the sink can be drawn for showering. The floor slopes toward the drain, but you have to cross the wet shower area to leave the bathroom. We arrived after peak season, when the air conditioning was off. It was a warm day, and with no breeze through the open windows, airflow was limited. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
