Residenza Cantalupo

A welcoming place in a nice area, with a beautiful pool. The sweet breakfast was very good!!

The room was cozy and comfortable, and the place has a nice mix of modern and quaint. We felt at home, especially over the generous breakfast with homemade items and both sweet and savory choices. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful. We stayed one night for a weekend in Ravenna and nearby, and the quiet location was still convenient.

The owners gave us such a warm welcome and really tried to make us feel at home. We loved the pool and the comfortable B&B annex, and the countryside was so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was exceptional, and there was excellent food around the area too.

Our room, Tabacco, was on the ground floor and had everything we needed: a very comfortable bed, a great shower, air conditioning, TV, free Wi-Fi, parquet floors, exposed brick, wooden beams, and two French windows with shutters. There were bedside tables, outlets, and wall lights on both sides of the bed. The bathroom was welcoming and stylish, with linens and olive oil-based products. A little hall held a wardrobe with drawers, an armchair, and a console table with a mirror. The garden was beautifully kept, and the large pool was clean and had a whirlpool. There were loungers and bean bags, with big trees for shade. We also loved breakfast in the charming indoor room. Deborah or her assistant prepared cakes, croissants and other pastries, biscuits, jam, fresh fruit salad, juices, tea, coffee, and cappuccino. The location was lovely, surrounded by countryside but only a few minutes by car from Ravenna, Sant'Apollinare in Classe, restaurants, bars, and piadina shops. We ate well at M11, Casale Falasco, and Osteria da Dunambò, especially at Dunambò. Piadineria-La Piadarola Godo was excellent too. We booked three days to relax and found so much more. Deborah and her husband were wonderful, friendly hosts, and the woman who helps run the property was lovely as well. I've probably said enough, but if you're unsure, Residenza Cantalupo will win you over. :)
