Avoid this place. My two-night stay in August was very negative. The room was run-down and dirty when I arrived: the sheets were old and damp, there was toothpaste on the mirror, the shower door was dirty, the air-conditioning filters were filthy, and dust was clearly visible under the bed. I ended up cleaning it myself because it was so dirty. It felt like I was staying somewhere rented out to you. Getting to the parking area was dangerous because the internal road was full of potholes. I had three small-to-medium dogs with me, weighing 10-16 kg, not polar bears. I asked right away whether that was a problem and repeatedly said I would leave without a fuss if needed. The owner insisted several times that I stay, and the next day even complimented how well behaved and quiet the dogs were. They were with me practically the whole time, apart from a few hours one day. When I left them in the room for a few hours in the late afternoon and evening, I monitored them on my camera to make sure they were okay and weren't disturbing the only other room in the property, occupied by two young people. The dogs really were more than good. After I left an obviously negative review on Booking.com, the property responded with a message full of lies, threats, and insults. Rather than apologize for the room's pitiful condition, they made jokes and baseless false accusations. The rooms were dirty, there was zero professionalism, and there was a lot of arrogance. The cleaning lady was extremely aggressive too. My advice is to avoid this place unless you like being treated badly and sleeping in dirt.

The host was friendly and helpful, and it's a great base for visiting Scala dei Turchi. Our family room was spacious and well equipped, with a very large bathroom, though the shower was small. It worked for me because I'm thin, but a larger person might have trouble. Parking was awkward with my low, long car, which can scrape underneath in the middle. Cleanliness was lacking, and the breakfast cups hadn't been washed properly.
