The room was spotless, with a fridge and a safe. You need to ask at reception for the air-conditioning remote, and they'll give it to you. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station. This is a family-run hotel and the hospitality was wonderful. The father speaks little English, so communication with him can be a bit harder, but his son was very friendly. He gave me useful tips about a nearby grocery store, where the city center is, and booking my train tickets ahead of time for the next day.

I found this hotel by chance while on a business trip, and the staff were very helpful. Legnano station is about a 7-minute walk away, with trains to Milan roughly every 10 minutes. My room had a new bathroom and a great bed. Breakfast had plenty to choose from: fresh fruit, freshly baked croissants and bread, cakes, cheese, yogurt, cereal, and cold cuts. Best of all, they made the coffee and cappuccino fresh instead of using those awful machines you get in big hotels. The street-view photo is old. The new owners have completely renovated the hotel.

A good base for a few days visiting Milan and the surrounding area. The staff were very kind and polite, and the rooms were a decent size with newly renovated bathrooms. Train connections to the metro and Milan were very good.

Getting around was easy, and the hotel was clean with friendly staff. It's just a shame the city has so few places to eat out.
