The hotel is clean and practical, and it’s only a few hundred meters from the highway exit, so it worked really well as a stop on my journey. I’d just landed in Genoa and was heading home after a long trip when a snowstorm caught me on my motorcycle. Ciow Ciow greeted me with a smile, and Matteo really knows how to look after customers. I highly recommend staying here for a break on the road.

Free parking right at the hotel made the overnight stop easy, and it’s right by the motorway exit. Matteo at reception was really friendly and professional 👍👏 The hotel restaurant was closed, but there’s a typical Italian place opposite with excellent Florentine meat and good pizza 👍

It’s clean and reasonably priced, with all the comforts you need, though the hotel feels a bit dated. The location is very close to southern Florence. We’ll definitely come back!

Friendly staff, and the location right off the highway is excellent for a short stay. But the prices aren’t cheap for what you get, and the building is older and needs renovation.

Ciliegi Hotel changed its name to La Fenice, and it’s been a big disaster. I stayed here in 2018 and again in 2025. Horror, horror, horror!
