We were glad to find such a peaceful spot, with lovely landlords and a terrace view of Etna. We’ll come back one day.

Mosorrofa is a peaceful hamlet near Reggio, with a little square by the church where children can play and meet friends. Pharmacies, supermarkets, a Q8 gas station, bars, and even two pizzerias open late are close by. It’s also easy to get to Gambarie, the beach, or the city, with the Modena San Sperato exit just minutes away. We found it a great base for exploring Reggio and the surrounding province, while still having a relaxing stay. The property is scenic, quiet, and immaculately clean. The rooms have different color schemes, and ours was a double with a very spacious bathroom. The furnishings and accessories were new and well kept, and the double-glazed windows had mosquito screens. Francesca was incredibly sweet and professional, always attentive to what we needed. Guests can use a large, comfortable kitchen and living room with a panoramic view. It was clean, functional, and tastefully furnished, with a sofa, TV, coffee machine and excellent Borbone pods, plus a refrigerator stocked with water, milk, fruit juice, and yogurt. There’s also an oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Breakfast was especially good and complete, and we could have it in the kitchen or on the terrace. Wifi and reserved parking are included. We highly recommend this place for its amenities and location.

We came by motorcycle, Sabino and Maria. The balcony looked out over the Strait of Messina, and breakfast was good and plentiful. The place was welcoming and very clean, with everything we needed, including a brand-new elevator and a stairlift for guests with disabilities. Francesca, the owner, was extremely kind and helpful.

The two sisters who own the property made a real impression on me. They were warm and ready to answer all our questions. Everything was immaculately clean and well maintained, and the spacious rooms look out over the Strait of Messina and Mount Etna. There’s kitchen access and refrigerator space for groceries, which is handy. Breakfast was top-notch, and the service was just as good. A great choice for couples or families looking for a break from the crowds.
