Il Falco

I came back after two years and found the same warm, well-organized place. The staff are friendly, efficient, and always available, and the central location comes with free parking. Rooms are clean and more than adequate for this kind of property. Breakfast has a good selection and was more than satisfactory. It's excellent value, though with just five rooms it's a good idea to book ahead. We'll definitely return.

The owner never came by, and the keys were left in the mailbox. I could only reach him by phone. Although breakfast was included, the vouchers didn't arrive until around 8:00 PM, despite our check-in being around 3:00 PM and several calls. We lost the whole afternoon waiting for both the voucher and an extra pillow. After hours, I was told there weren't any pillows available. The suite was a letdown too: the furnishings were in terrible shape, and dirty linens filled the closet so it couldn't be used. It was a negative stay, and I wouldn't do it again.

Everything is close enough to walk to, and the train station is about 20 minutes away. The location is fantastic. Our room was very clean and nicely furnished, with a small sea view. Contact with the landlord was limited, and the girl who handed over the keys barely spoke. The pump on the mini-balcony was very loud, for some reason, even at night.
