The stay was inexpensive and right in the historic centre, with no luxury extras. It’s a calm area, though the walls are thin enough that you can hear the neighbours. The older building was clean, and my room was warm and pleasant. Staff were friendly, breakfast was Italian, and they gave me a free pass to park in the town centre, as long as I could find an empty space. For a two star hotel, I had a very good experience.

The room and bathroom were both tiny, and the shower was so cramped I could barely turn around. There was no hot water when I tried to shower after arriving, and when I went to reception for help, Monica was rude and couldn’t sort it out. The place felt dark, dirty, unwelcoming, and smelly. For €60 a night, the value was outrageous; you can get more for that price. Hotel Posta is much better. A horrible stay, and I’ll never go back.

The windows wouldn’t close properly because the handles were out of order. I froze all night, and there were no extra blankets.

The old town location was handy, and the staff were attentive and helpful. The accommodation itself was simple, but nice and clean.
