The restaurant is a real bonus, and the food is excellent. Breakfast is generous, with both sweet and savory choices, and the price feels surprisingly low for what you get. It’s peaceful here, with a good location not far from the paved road. The rooms are large and simple but have everything, including a kettle. The bathroom is spacious too, and the shower is comfortable. The basic-looking fire doors spoil the appearance a little, though they do provide safety, and apparently they’re also available with silkscreen printing. There are lots of cats around. I thought they couldn’t be touched, but actually they can.

The owner even gave me two freshly picked Mantuan pumpkins, perfect for risotto and tortelli. Breakfast was lovely, with produce from the farm, and the room was clean and cozy. We were there as a couple and found it great value. It’s a friendly, welcoming family-run farmhouse. I was sorry not to try the food, since the evening service is now closed. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely come back. Those stars are deserved.

We came for the Nomadi concert in Reggiolo and were very happy with our stay. The owners were warm and helpful, and we picked up some pumpkins and eggs to take home. Our room was roomy, with really comfortable mattresses and a full bathroom. Parking was right in front of it, and breakfast had plenty of both sweet and savory options. We’ll be back.

Breakfast was generous and full of good local and homemade products. The coffee and cappuccino were both really good, too. Our room was clean and comfortable, especially the lovely bed, and the owner made us feel very welcome. We stopped for a night during a long drive to Belgium.
