Really great!

There’s a small guest lounge, plus a coffee machine guests can use. My room was tidy and very clean, with a comfortable bed and a roomy bathroom. The hospitality was excellent.

I’m giving one star only because there’s no option for zero. After what happened, I won’t stay there again. Being treated like a thief, along with the rudeness from both of them, was unacceptable. This was my third stay at the property. On the first visit there was no soap in the shower, and they only gave me some the day before I left. For the third visit, I booked by phone hoping to get my usual room. When we arrived, the same woman who welcomes guests tried to explain some room problem I couldn’t understand, and it wasn’t the room I’d asked for. I said, “Oh well.” My wife and I went in and found no towels for one person and no shower soap. I called the woman and messaged the owner about it on wzp at the same time. She rushed over and rudely insisted she’d put the tablecloths there herself, so they couldn’t be missing, then shouted that I’d stolen them. I got upset too and reminded her we’d just entered the room and couldn’t have taken them. I also pointed out the missing soap. On top of accusing me over the tablecloths, she said I could use the hand sanitizer dispenser in the shower. The worst part was the owner calling to complain that two of us were texting him. He didn’t care what had happened or that the woman, his mother, had called me a thief. During our two days there we never got shower soap, though we did get the pair of bathroom towels. Only after we left did the owner text, “I apologize for what happened.”

The owner was friendly and helpful, and everything was tastefully decorated and very clean. It’s quite a way from the center, though there’s a very good restaurant and an equally good café within walking distance.
