I won’t recommend this place. My pizza was so drenched in cheese and grease that it seemed more like soup, and I couldn’t manage it with a fork. When I politely raised the problem, the staff said that was “Neapolitan style,” while the waitress joked in a way that felt inappropriate instead of taking me seriously. At payment, the owners became aggressive and tried to persuade me the pizza was proper. Later I saw other customers had described the same problem, along with poor food and staff who were unprofessional and even hostile.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and work well for families. The owners are lovely, and the kitchen often uses organic and local products. There’s a sledding slope right across the way, ski areas nearby, and a local ski bus stop across the street. The drowned church in the lake and the area's fascinating history add to the appeal. A lovely place.

Katja's yoga sessions were my favorite part. I was there in winter, but apparently you can join them in the woods in summer too. The staff are very friendly, and my son and I really enjoyed the hotel. It’s very clean, with a nice sauna, and the food often includes organic ingredients and local dishes. They make the best Apfelstrudel in the area.

The drinks were good, and the pizza was the best I’ve had in a long time. The chef even made us something off the menu, which was great. I can only recommend this place.
