There was hardly anywhere to park on the street when we arrived in the evening, so bear that in mind. The shower couldn't be used: its hose leaked and the rod had broken off. There was also an unpleasant sewer-like smell coming from the drain. We stayed one night on our way south. The place sounded much better in the listing than it was, and in reality it felt mediocre at best. On arrival, we noticed a faint gas smell. We asked the owner about it but never heard back. The sofa bed sagged and wasn't suitable for adults or bigger kids. Communication was poor, too. After booking, we got lots of automatic WhatsApp messages, but personal messages weren't answered. I'd look for somewhere else to stay.

The studio was old and neglected, and didn't look like the photos. The toilet was dirty, nowhere near the listing's “spotless” description, and mold in the shower made it impossible to use safely. Even basic chores were difficult because the kitchen sink was broken. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. No one should have to deal with these conditions and that treatment. This place should be closed down.

The homemade fresh bread at breakfast was the finishing touch. We also loved the comfortable bed and the spacious, clean rooms. The house has lovely decor and has been newly renovated. It's very close to Expo, and the centre of Milano is only 15 minutes away by train.

The owner was helpful, and it's a good place, though some areas need repainting and new furniture.
