What keeps bringing me back to Riano is this place. The hospitality is the best, and it’s peaceful, up on the hill as always. I’ll be back.

The bed is really comfortable, and the place is quiet and clean. It’s plainly not a luxury stay, but check-in was easy and excellent. You’ll hear locals calling out “Buongiorno!” early in the morning, so expect an early start. If you like somewhere a bit rustic, I’d recommend it. Its location in northern Rome is handy.

For the price, I thought it was excellent value. The property is older and sits in a small mountain village, but it’s very clean, including the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and the owner was friendly.
