Everything was in great shape and really clean.

The woman who welcomed us seemed kind and helpful right from the start. Our second-floor apartment was a good size, very carefully cleaned, and had none of the odd smells I'd read about in other reviews. The price was quite reasonable. The only thing I'd change is turning the boiler temperature down a little. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

I absolutely don't recommend this place. When we arrived, the owner told us the price was higher than the amount quoted on Booking.com. We asked why and were rudely told to leave if we didn't like it, with comments like “if you don't like it, walk away” and “you think you've come to rule.” We had to leave and find somewhere else at the last minute. I'm editing my review because I can't reply directly to the owner's counter-response, but my opinion is still awful. Saying you couldn't trust someone who spoke with you on the phone when we arrived, even though you weren't there in person, came across as extremely rude. She was the first to answer rudely, and there were unkind words. As I said before, she “kicked us out,” telling us to walk away if we didn't like it. I didn't feel she was open to constructive discussion. Calling my account “incorrect or offensive reconstructions” doesn't change what I experienced. Our discussion is over.

I wouldn't recommend this place. It was our first and only time there, and that's enough for me to know. The village has nothing going on. Saving 20 euros on a rental made no sense when we didn't want to use the place for our trip to Tropea. The two most expensive apartments we rented on this vacation were also the dirtiest. Some small things were missing, like salt, sugar, and the four disposable hotel shampoo packets, and the property didn't match the description or location shown on Booking.com.
