L'Arcobaleno Resort

I loved everything here, from the room and surroundings to the staff. Everyone was kind and helpful, and the cornetti they make in the morning were 10 out of 10. The cocktail bar had great service too. I highly recommend taking the course by chef, we were so impressed.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, treating guests like family, and the relaxing atmosphere made a great impression on me. The apartments are pretty simple: they have pans, plates, cups and cutlery, but you'll need to buy things like salt, paper, washing liquid and even toilet paper yourself. That's a bit inconvenient, though it didn't spoil the stay. A car is recommended since the beaches are far away. There's a free shuttle to one beach, though it wasn't the best one in my experience. I totally recommend the place and would like to come back.

We spent a wonderful holiday here in September 2021, and the hotel management team, Samuel, Petra, Marissa, and Basile, made us feel like part of the family. l’Arcobaleno is in a quiet village: cicadas fill the days, while the nights are still and silent. From the hotel there's a special sunset view, with the sun seeming to disappear behind a volcano each evening. Goethe should have included Calabria in his “Italian Journey.” The hotel arranges an efficient transfer to the beach and back, so getting there takes no effort. A shop is seven minutes away on foot, where you can buy ingredients to cook in your room. Each evening we looked forward to cocktails made carefully by the team with mint straight from the garden. Perfetto e bravissimo! It took me a while to write this because I wanted to find words that did justice to the time we spent here. I still haven't found them, but it felt time to say something.

If you're lucky, as we were, the balcony looks out over the Tyrrhenian Sea in a spectacular way. The apartments are nice, the pool and bar are good, and the staff are very friendly. A very good hotel and great value for money.
