Resort Agave Blu

We had such a good time at Agaveblu resort this summer. The room had air conditioning, a roomy bathroom, and a comfortable bed, with daily room service. Big thanks to the staff, especially chef Cosimo, chef Mohammed, and Paolo, for the delicious food and fun little chats. If you want somewhere peaceful to recharge and watch beautiful sunsets, I highly recommend it. See you next time! Julia and John from Poland ;)

Stefania and Pietro made the trip for us. They run this as a family business, and the care they put into the place and their service really shows. They were warm, easy to reach for suggestions, and happy to chat at the bar during aperitivo hour. We’d love to return next summer if we can. Grazie per la bellissima esperienza di quest’estate! The resort was quiet and relaxing, with an immaculate, renovated feel, lovely gardens, its own vegetable patch, and fig trees. Breakfast was freshly made, with plenty of sweet and savory choices, juices, fruit, and cakes. Coffee came fresh from the bar rather than a machine. Our room was welcoming when we returned from the beach or pool, and it was cleaned regularly. They also supplied towels. The pool had a beautiful, spa-like Caribbean feel. At Spiaggia del Tono, about five minutes away by car, the hotel provides umbrellas and sunbeds, and parking is included and easy. The water was clear, the beach was pebbly as well as sandy, and there were local bars for lunch or drinks. We visited at the end of August.

The owners were kind and helpful, and breakfast had lots to choose from: sweet and savory items, fresh juice and fruit, and cakes. The breakfast area sits right by the pool. The houses are dotted among the greenery, and the beautiful garden is kept in great shape. Everything felt tastefully done.

We first came for one night because the sister hotel we’d booked had plumbing trouble and moved us here. We were so happy that we stayed for the whole week. The people at the hotel, who may have been the owners, were lovely and made it feel like staying in their family home. They couldn’t do enough for us. The facilities and rooms looked great, and the welcome bottle of champagne was a nice touch. We especially enjoyed the pool with jacuzzi and the relaxed adults-only setting. Each room had a sweet little terrace for sitting outside in the evening. The coffee and wine were second to none. It felt like a week in paradise, and we’d definitely return and recommend the hotel.
