Hotel Levante

The staff were very helpful, and the room rate included a great breakfast. The rooms are small but clean, and this is a straightforward place without frills at a fair price, at least at the end of June. It’s 100 m from the beach and about 200-300 m from the nearest public beach. I’d book the hotel parking for 15 euros a day, since finding a spot in Riccione can be awful. If you’re planning to visit nearby fun parks, ask the staff about tickets. You can buy them at the hotel for a competitive price, but cash only.

We booked our room a month and a half in advance, and the hotel had told us we would pay there, so we planned to settle it on arrival. A week before the trip, they began checking our card. We provided the number three times through booking.com, but they hadn’t told us a week earlier how much we needed to pay. There was a problem with the card, and we were given 24 hours to send a correct number. After 12 hours with no updates or contact, they cancelled the reservation, leaving us without a room a week before the trip. Maybe they had someone else take our place, but the way they treated us was shameful. I wouldn’t recommend booking if you need to be sure you won’t be left with nowhere to stay.

We liked everything here. Friendly staff, a standard breakfast, daily cleaning, and the sea just a one-minute walk away.

The rooms are basic, but for the price and location they’re adequate. What made the stay great was the lovely people working there.
