Hotel Nelson

We were a school group of 25 and spent 8 days here in mid-January. The rooms were warm and comfortable, and we were welcomed very well. Restaurant service was excellent, both the food preparation and the wait staff's friendliness and helpfulness. Breakfast was great too, with a rich selection of sweet and savory items. All the baked goods were homemade and truly delicious.

Breakfast was the big surprise for me. They made fresh cakes themselves every morning, and the rest of the buffet was well stocked for a good breakfast. The rooms were clean and had what we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was convenient for all the amenities, and the staff, including the younger staff, were very kind and helpful. We had a really good time and will definitely come back!

We were a group of four teachers and 35 students from a French school, and stayed for five days. I'm an Italian teacher there, and our experience was so good that I highly recommend the hotel. We were looked after, listened to, advised, and supported every day with real dedication. On our last evening, they surprised us with a cake to wish us a safe trip home to Paris. The food was plentiful and very high quality, and the hotel is spotless with efficient service, just four minutes from the sea. The staff were fantastic and always kind and available. The manager, Mr. Cono, was a lovely person, courteous and attentive to every detail, and ready to answer all our many questions. Mr. Aurelio greeted us each morning and evening with a kind smile and endless patience. He served the treats made with such care by Ms. Monica, including her homemade cakes, each more irresistible than the last, and by chef Salvatore, who gave us succulent dishes every evening, real highlights of Italian cuisine. Rosanna and Claudia at reception were always warm, with genuine smiles. Ms. Sara, the head housekeeper, was humble and kind, and kept the rooms and shared areas impeccably clean. Dedication, kindness, patience, humility, smiles, and courtesy. What more could you ask for?

We stayed for eight days with a group of students, and it went by too fast. The food was very good, and breakfast was excellent. The place was spotless and everyone was so friendly. A holiday worth repeating.
