Hotel Parco

We loved our week in the apartment. It was well equipped, and the staff were kind and helpful. I can definitely recommend Hotel Parco.

The beach and the nearby shops made this a good base for our ten-night trip. The beach is a short walk away, clean and well organized, and a step up in quality from some farther north in the Rivazzurra area near Rimini. You can see that in the beach-bed prices. Via Virgilio is close too, with plenty of shops and restaurants and lots going on. We liked the pool, a decent size and great for cooling off after a day on the beach. Breakfast had a good range of eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, sweets, yogurt and fruit. The double room was a decent size, though there wasn't much floor space, and the balcony was fairly large. If you'll use the balcony, ask for a room toward the front, where you might get a view. At the back it faces another building. Some friends had updated bathrooms, while mine was older but clean and fully usable. The air conditioning worked well enough in my room, but some companions couldn't get theirs cool enough, and staff weren't able to fix that during our stay. Dinner was the main disappointment. It's available as half board or per meal, but costs 30 EUR excluding drinks and the choices are limited. Each day you choose three Primi and three Secondi from the menu the day before. I ate there twice and wasn't happy with the options, service or food quality. There are so many good restaurants nearby that I'd skip the hotel dinner for better food, more choice and a better price. Even so, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

After days out in the heat, the pool was a welcome place to cool down, and Brillo bar had a lovely, relaxed feel. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and always ready to help. The location is brilliant, close to the centre of Riccione and the beaches. We'd happily stay again.
