Hotel San Remo

A negative experience.

Fantastic.

The beach is just across the street, and the pedestrian area is right beside the hotel. I had a lovely balcony view, too. My single room was on the small side, but it was very clean and had everything I needed. The family running the place were incredibly friendly and happy to help with just about anything. A great spot for a relaxing stay.

Full board is well worth considering. There was a wide choice at every meal, from breakfast through dinner, including options for different tastes and needs related to intolerances or illness. All the staff were kind, which made the meals even better. The hotel sits at the start of Via Dante, close to the sea as well as restaurants, supermarkets, and bars. In summer the street is closed to traffic in the evenings, so it's a nice place for a late-day walk. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with a large bathroom. It was clean and practical, though the furnishings in our room were a little dated. Beach service can be booked through the property.
